Lichtende Drift [invitation]

You are cordially invited to the world premiere of Lichtende Drift, the brand-new composition for twenty-three part string orchestra, commissioned by and and dedicated to Candida Thompson and Amsterdam Sinfonietta, with financial support of Netherlands Fonds Podiumkunsten.

Yesterday the public in Concertzaal Tilburg already had a chance to hear the composition after the lovely interview with Rob van Steen during the preconcert program.

Tonight it will open the concert at the contemporary music series Donderdagavondserie at Muziekgebouw aan’t IJ. Before the concert Thea Derks will talk about the program and interview me about the new work and its compositional ideas. Welcome!
