The artists will introduce their work, and then take you on a walk through Klankenbos. We close the event with a reception. Curvices (2013) is an audiovisual mobile application that accompanies you on a walk through Klankenbos. By changing location, you codetermine the development of the music and the poetry. Exploring the terrain, you probe sounds and words, you make a journey through the forest, around the world, in as many steps as you like. For Curvices, Cox & Grusenmeyer took on the role of light designers and created a fitting light show. For further details on the sound app, see the attached PDF [English].

Rozalie Hirs (NL) is a composer and a poet. Her poetry and music are lyrical as well as experimental. The principal concerns of her work are the adventure of listening and reading, and the imagination.
Cox & Grusenmeyer (BE) is a design duo, who investigate different ways of directing image and language. Based on the conviction that design is more than print, they have involved sound, installations, video, websites and costumes in their work.
