Book launch at Ausland, Berlin

Here are two photographs made by Marit Vos at Ausland, Berlin, of yesterday’s book launch of gestammelte werke (Berlin: kookbooks, 2017) by Rozalie Hirs. Presenting a multilingual reading of the poems for the first time was so much fun!

Cia Rinne read Swedish, Spanish, and French translations by Boerje Bohlin, Diego Puls, and Kim Andringa/Daniel Cunin/Henry Deluy respectively; Daniela Seel read German originals and German translations by Ard Posthuma/Daniela Seel/Rozalie Hirs; Rozalie Hirs read Dutch and English originals, as well as English translations by Donald Gardner.

Happy 2017!

Happy new year – wishing you love, happiness, and lots of new music, poems, and other arts in 2017!

Here is a photograph taken by my sweetheart on a rooftop in Amsterdam just after midnight, where we were celebrating with friends. Yes, it was this foggy, and yes, the fireworks were this red (at times).
