“In De schrijfkamer, poet/ composer Rozalie Hirs explains how her compelling, periodless poetry is created. She labors at an impressive oeuvre, in which anecdotes are avoided as much as possible, but which consists of highly lyrical poems. She provides us with a glimpse into the intimacy of her ‘sketchbooks’, in which the first contours of her poems are visible, written in ecoline. Rozalie reads some poems, the way only she can, introducing in passing her hyperstructural interactive poetry on her website.
